Certificate and Test Reports
Every order leaves with the paperwork the destination market asks for. The files on this page are the ones we hold for our own production: an independent Intertek supplier assessment and material safety data sheets for the wax we pour. Test reports to ASTM F2417 and EN 15494, REACH statements and IFRA documentation are issued per SKU, so tell us the candle family and the destination and the matching documents go out with your quotation. The people and the lines behind these documents are described on the factory page and on the workshop page.

What Each Document Covers
Three files sit behind this page. None of them is a marketing certificate: each one is a report issued by a testing or audit body against a named standard, with a report number you can check with the issuer.
MSDS - Finished Candle
Report A001R1906240601, created 27 June 2019 by Changyin Testing (QTC) in Shanghai. It covers composition, handling, storage, first aid and transport classification for the finished candle, and states the data was prepared to UN GHS Rev.7, EU CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and US OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200. Freight forwarders and customs brokers ask for this file when a shipment is booked as a general cargo or when the carrier queries the wax.
MSDS - Paraffin Wax
Report A001R1612060001, tested 6–7 December 2016 by the same laboratory. This one covers the raw material rather than the finished product, which matters when your buyer's safety team reviews what goes into the scented and beeswax blends we pour. If your program uses a soy or palm blend instead, say so and we send the sheet that matches the wax actually used in your order.
Intertek Supplier Qualification Report
Report F_IAR_3834_SQP, audit carried out on 10 November 2014 in Zhejiang under Intertek's Supplier Qualification Program. The assessor reviewed the quality system, production capability and product inspection at the site rather than sampling one shipment, which is why importers use it during supplier approval. Which Documents Your Market Receives
A report is issued for a specific candle and a specific market. The table below shows what we prepare for each destination, so you can see at quotation stage whether the file you need exists or has to be commissioned.

One rule matters more than the rest: a report covers the candle it was issued for. Change the wax, the wick, the fragrance load or the container, and the file no longer applies. That is why new shapes and new scents are tested before the first carton ships - the custom candle process sets out how a new SKU is approved, and the product range shows which families already have reports on file.
If your buyer's compliance team has its own checklist, send it with the enquiry. We mark each line as available, issued per order, or not applicable, and reply in writing - that is faster than exchanging one document at a time.

What the Third-Party Audit Shows
Factory self-descriptions are easy to write. An assessment by an outside body is not, which is why this one is published here in full instead of summarised.
Who carried it out
Intertek, under its Supplier Qualification Program. The report is F_IAR_3834_SQP, dated 10 November 2014, and the entity assessed is Zhejiang Tonglu Zhongyi Gift Factory at the Tonglu site.
What was reviewed
Quality management, production capability, in-process and final inspection, packing and traceability - the same floor that runs your order today. The lines are described on the factory page.
How buyers use it
Most importers treat it as a starting point for supplier approval, then add their own audit or a pre-shipment inspection. Both can be arranged; the workshop page explains how a visit or an inspection day runs.
What it does not cover
It is a 2014 assessment, not an ISO 9001 or social-compliance certificate. If your program needs a specific scheme, tell us at quotation stage and we confirm in writing what is available rather than assume it.

How to Get the File You Need
Four steps, and the first one is the only one that needs an email.
Send the SKU and the destination
Candle family, size, wax type, fragrance load and the country of import. If you have not chosen yet, start from the Jewish, scented, beeswax, outdoor or decorative range - a photo and a reference is enough.
Receive the pack with the quotation
Reports, MSDS and the REACH or IFRA statement travel with the price, MOQ and lead time in the same reply - usually within 24 hours. The quotation terms themselves are set out on the support page.
Test if the SKU is new
A new mold, a new fragrance or a new wick means a new report. Custom samples run about 7 days, and the test is booked against the sample you approve so there is no gap between approval and testing.
Ship with the documents attached
Certificate of origin, packing list, invoice and MSDS go with the shipping set, and the pre-shipment inspection report is issued about three days before loading. Ask for scanned copies in advance if your customs broker needs them early.
Questions About Certification
Do you hold ISO 9001, BSCI or Sedex?
The documents held today are the Intertek assessment and the MSDS files shown above. Social-compliance schemes are usually driven by the buyer's own program, so tell us which one your order needs and we will confirm in writing whether it is available before you rely on it.
Is a report valid for every candle you make?
No. A report is tied to one construction - wax, wick, fragrance load and container. Change any of them and the SKU is tested again before shipment. This is normal across the industry and it is why we ask for the exact specification at quotation stage.
Can I see the full report rather than the first page?
Yes. The scans on this page show the cover pages only; the complete PDFs with every page and the issuer's stamp are sent on request, together with the report number so your team can verify them with Intertek or the laboratory.
Do you supply REACH and IFRA statements?
Yes. REACH statements cover the wax and the fragrance, and IFRA documentation is issued for the oil used in each scented program. Unscented production needs neither, which is common on the religious lines.
Is Kosher certification held for the factory?
The Jewish candle lines are produced to Kosher-standard routines, and the documentation supplied is agreed per order with the buyer. Which paper your program needs is best settled at enquiry stage - see the Jewish candle range for the products concerned.
Who issues the certificate of origin?
We arrange it with the shipment, together with the packing list and invoice. If your bank or customs authority requires legalisation or a specific form, say so when the order is placed so the timeline covers it. Payment and shipping terms are on the support page.
