Company History
The journey of Zhejiang Tonglu Zhongyi Gifts Factory commenced in August 1998 at the foot of the picturesque Tongjun Mountain. In its early days, the factory specialized in the production of natural beeswax candles, while also undertaking the processing of various artisanal craft candles. Our initial dedication to beeswax candles enabled us to establish a firm foothold in the craft candle industry, laying a solid product foundation and building a sound industry reputation for our future growth.
Following five years of steady accumulation and development, the factory reached its first major milestone in January 2004 with its relocation to Tonglu Qingshan Industrial Park. The new premises cover approximately 6.5 acres, with our workforce expanding by over 10 employees. This move greatly upgraded our production premises and operational capacity.
More importantly, we embarked on a strategic transformation by officially venturing into foreign trade and adopting an integrated model combining manufacturing and trade. Moving beyond the constraints of pure production, we achieved coordinated development of production and trade, broadened our global market vision and business footprint, and aligned ourselves with the export trends of the craft industry at that time.
With nearly 30 years of persistent dedication, the factory achieved another leap forward in 2024. We relocated to our current site, expanding the factory area to around 12 acres and growing our team to more than 60 employees. Our production environment, equipment and supporting facilities were fully upgraded, representing a substantial enhancement in our overall comprehensive strength.
In the same year, we founded TONGLU BAIYI CRAFTS CO., LTD., marking a new chapter of diversified development. Our business focus gradually shifted toward trade operations, transforming us from a traditional manufacturer into a comprehensive enterprise led by trade and backed by in-house production. Leveraging our self-manufacturing capabilities to ensure consistent and stable quality, we further expanded our domestic and overseas markets through professional trade deployment, completing the enterprise's iterative upgrading and strategic evolution.
From a small workshop startup at the foot of Tongjun Mountain, to the manufacturing-trade integration transformation in Qingshan Industrial Park, and to today's expanded scale and diversified operations, Zhejiang Tonglu Zhongyi Gifts Factory has remained true to its original aspiration and kept evolving over the past three decades. Deeply rooted in the candle industry, every relocation and strategic transformation has witnessed our steady growth and upgrading, laying a solid groundwork for sustainable, long-term development in the years ahead.
