Key Usage Tips
Initial Burn for Shaping: Allow the candle to burn long enough during the first use for a uniform pool of liquid wax to form across the surface; this prevents tunneling (craters) later on and significantly extends the candle's lifespan.
Wick Maintenance: Trim the wick to 0.5 cm before each use. After extinguishing, straighten the wick and dip it briefly into the melted wax before lifting it back up; this ensures easy relighting next time.
Proper Extinguishing: Ideally, use a candle snuffer or press the wick into the wax pool with a clean wooden stick. Avoid blowing the candle out directly, as this can produce black smoke and cause sparks to fly.
Daily Storage Guidelines
Store the candle in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Use a sealed, dark-colored container to protect it from high temperatures-which could cause the wax to melt or deform-and to prevent impurities from compromising its quality.
