What We Control in Production
A pillar fails at retail for three reasons: a wick that is too small for the diameter, color that shifts between batches, and a wall that caves as the candle burns down. These are the five points we hold in every order.
Wax and scent
Every pillar is poured from filtered beeswax with no paraffin stretch and no soy filler. Unscented is the standard so the honey note stays clean; fragrance can be added for retail programs, and the wider beeswax candle range shares the same wax base.
Diameter and height
Pillars are made to your table or shelf standard, from slim dinner pillars to wide three-wick pieces. Diameter drives the wick size, so the two are confirmed together on a burned sample rather than quoted as separate figures.
Color and finish
Natural honey and ivory are stock colors. Custom Pantone matching starts at 500 pcs per color, with trials poured on production wax so the approved sample matches the bulk delivery. Smooth and lightly textured walls are both available.
Wicking
Cotton wicks are primed, centered and sized to the diameter so the melt pool reaches the wall without tunnelling or smoking. Multi-wick layouts are spaced and tested at sampling, then trimmed to length before packing.
Packing and documents
Bulk cartons, paper sleeves, shrink packs and gift boxes are available. Cartons can carry your barcode and multilingual warning text, and our sales support team checks label wording against the destination market before production.

PRODUCTION
From Wax Block to Sealed Carton
Pillar production is short and repeatable, which is why lead times stay predictable. Sampling and bulk run on the same line, in the same workshop that handles our jar and votive lines.
STEP 01
Wax melting and filtration
Beeswax is melted at a controlled temperature and filtered to remove sediment before color is added.
STEP 02
Pouring and settling
Wax is poured in stages so the wall cools straight and the top sets flat without a sink hole.
STEP 03
Wicking and centring
Wicks are set while the wax is still warm, then checked for centring and trimmed to length.
STEP 04
Inspection and packing
Each carton is checked for surface finish, color match and wick alignment before it is sealed and labeled.

Beeswax Pillar Candle Questions Buyers Ask

1. Are the pillars solid beeswax all the way through?
Yes. The pillar is poured solid from filtered beeswax with a cotton wick, not a shell over a cheaper core. The wax content is declared on the MSDS issued with each shipment.
2. Will the pillar drip during service?
Beeswax has a higher melting point than paraffin, and with a matched wick the pillar burns clean in normal indoor conditions. We run a draft test on your chosen diameter and confirm drip behaviour on a burned sample before production.
3. What diameters and heights can you make?
The range covers slim dinner pillars through to wide three-wick pieces. Diameter and height are set per order and priced after sampling, because wick size and cooling time both change with the dimensions.
4. How long is the burn time?
Burn time follows diameter and height, so we quote it per SKU after sampling rather than publishing one figure for the line. The tested figure is written on the quotation.
5. Can you match a specific color?
Pantone matching starts at 500 pcs per color. We pour color trials on production wax and send them for approval before the bulk run, so the shade you approve is the shade that ships.
6. What is the MOQ?
2,000 pcs per size and color. Mixed colors can be combined in one order as long as each color meets the 500 pcs color minimum.
7. Can you pack for retail shelves?
Yes. Sleeves, window boxes and gift sets carry your artwork, barcode and warning text, produced to the dieline approved at sampling.
