SPECIFICATIONS
What We Control in Production
Taper candles fail at retail for three reasons: an uneven diameter, a wick that is too large for the body, and color that shifts between batches. These are the five points we hold in every order.
Wax specification
Every batch is poured from natural beeswax with no paraffin filler, which is why the candles carry a faint honey scent and burn with a warm tone. Fragrance can be added for retail programs, and the wider beeswax candle range shares the same wax base.
Dimensions and burn
Taper diameter is held at 20 to 22 mm so the candle seats in standard holders. Lengths run from 15 cm to 30 cm, with burn time quoted per length after sampling rather than assumed from a catalog.
Color and finish
Natural honey is the stock color. Custom Pantone matching starts at 500 pcs per color and covers ivory, cream, sage and deep festival tones. Color trials are dipped on production wax, not on a substitute.
Wicking
Cotton wicks are primed and centered by hand, then sized to the diameter so the column burns down without tunnelling or smoking. Wicks are trimmed to length before packing.
Packing and documents
Bulk cartons, shrink packs, window boxes and gift sets are available. Retail packaging can carry your barcode, safety warning and language versions; our sales support team checks label wording against the destination market before production.

Match the Taper to the Setting
The same wax specification serves all three markets. What changes is length, color and how the candles are packed for the people who will handle them.
Dinner and restaurant service
Straight, uniform tapers in natural or ivory for table settings, supplied in bulk cartons with an even count per box so front-of-house staff can restock quickly.
Weddings and events
Longer lengths with color matched finishes, packed by table set. Planners receive cartons labeled by table number on request.
Church and devotional use
Hand dipped tapers for altars and processions, with a steady flame and controlled drip when placed away from draughts.

Your Brand on Every Carton
Most of our taper volume ships under the buyer's own brand. Cartons, sleeves and bands are printed to your artwork, with barcodes and multilingual warning text applied before the goods leave the factory.
Send artwork and we return a dieline and a printed mock-up before tooling starts, so the layout is agreed before any packaging is produced.
Logo
Printed or foiled on the carton, sleeve or band. Vector artwork is preferred so the mark stays sharp at small sizes.
Color
Pantone matching from 500 pcs per color; natural honey is stocked and ships without a color surcharge.
Length
15 cm to 30 cm in 2.5 cm steps. Lengths outside that range start at 5,000 pcs per size.
Fragrance
Unscented by default so the natural honey note stays clean. Honey, lavender or buyer supplied oils can be added.

PRODUCTION
From Wax Block to Sealed Carton
Taper production is short and repeatable, which is why lead times stay predictable. Sampling and bulk run on the same line, in the same workshop that handles our pillar and votive lines.
STEP 01
Wax melting and filtration
Beeswax is melted at a controlled temperature and filtered to remove sediment before color is added.
STEP 02
Dipping or molding
Hand dipping builds the body layer by layer; molding holds a uniform diameter for high-volume runs.
STEP 03
Wicking and trimming
Wicks are set while the wax is still warm, then trimmed and checked for centring before the candle cools.
STEP 04
Inspection and packing
Each carton is checked for straightness, color match and wick alignment before it is sealed and labeled.

Beeswax Taper Questions Buyers Ask

1. Are your taper candles 100% beeswax?
Yes. The body is natural beeswax with no paraffin blend. The color and any fragrance are the only additions, and both are declared on the MSDS.
2. What size taper fits a standard holder?
Our tapers are held at 20 to 22 mm at the base, which seats in most dinner and altar holders. If your holder has an unusually narrow or wide socket, send the measurement and we will trim the base accordingly.
3. Can you match a specific color?
Pantone matching starts at 500 pcs per color. We dip color trials on production wax and send them for approval before the bulk run.
4. Do these tapers drip?
All taper candles drip when the flame is disturbed by air movement. Our wick sizing keeps the flame steady in still air; for draught-prone venues we recommend a slightly larger diameter.
5. What is the MOQ?
2,000 pcs per size and color. Mixed colors can be combined in one order as long as each color meets the 500 pcs color minimum.
6. How long does production take?
30 days after sample approval, plus 20 days during August to October. Shipping time depends on the destination port and is quoted with the order.
7. Can you print our logo?
Yes, on cartons, sleeves and bands. We send a printed mock-up for approval before the packaging run starts.
