What We Control in Production
A rolled beeswax program fails at retail for three reasons: sheets that crack when customers roll them, cells that lose their grip so the candle unwinds, and color that shifts between batches. These are the five points we hold in every order.
Sheet thickness and embossing
Foundation sheets are pressed to a thickness that rolls cleanly at room temperature, with cell depth checked so the wax grips the wick and the final layer without glue or heat.
Dimensions and rolling count
Sheet width sets the pillar height and sheet length sets the diameter, so both are cut to your SKU list. Finished dimensions are confirmed on the sample before the bulk run is scheduled.
Color in the sheet
Natural golden yellow and ivory are stock colors. Pigment is set during sheet production rather than dipped on after, so color cannot flake or rub off on customer hands, and Pantone matching is available for retail programs.
Wicking
Cotton wicks are sized to the pillar diameter so the flame tracks the full height without tunnelling or dripping. Wick length is trimmed to spec before packing, or supplied cut-to-size inside beeswax candle kits.
Packing and documents
Flat-sheet stacks, rolled-and-banded sets and full DIY kits with wicks and inserts are packed to your spec. Our sales support team checks barcode, warning text and language versions against the destination market before production.

PRODUCTION
From Wax Press to Sealed Carton
Rolled production is short and low-waste, which keeps lead times predictable. Sheets and finished candles are made in the same workshop that handles our taper and pillar lines.
STEP 01
Wax melting and sheet pressing
Beeswax is melted, filtered and pressed into embossed foundation sheets, with pigment added in the sheet where colors are required.
STEP 02
Sheet cutting
Sheets are cut to the width and length that set your pillar height and diameter, with thickness checked across the sheet.
STEP 03
Hand rolling and wicking
For finished pillars, sheets are wrapped around a cotton wick layer by layer, so the honeycomb texture and the concentric roll stay visible.
STEP 04
Inspection and packing
Each batch is checked for roll tightness, color match and wick alignment, then packed flat or rolled to your kit spec and labeled.

Rolled Beeswax Questions Buyers Ask
The questions that come up most often during quotation. If yours is not covered, send it with your enquiry and we will answer in writing.
1. Are the sheets and candles 100% beeswax?
Yes. Sheets and finished pillars are pressed from natural beeswax with no paraffin blend. Color and any added fragrance are the only additions, and both are declared on the MSDS.
2. Do the sheets need glue or heat to roll?
No. The embossed cell texture grips the wick and the final layer on its own at normal room temperature, which is why rolled beeswax is the standard school and workshop format.
3. Can we sell the sheets and finished candles in the same program?
Yes, and most craft buyers do. Sheets ship as craft stock, pillars as finished goods, and both can be mixed in one order and one container because they come from the same wax base.
4. Will the color rub off on customer hands?
No. Pigment is set during sheet production, not applied to the surface afterwards, so the color stays in the wax through rolling, burning and handling.
5. Can you pack full DIY kits under our brand?

6. What is the MOQ?
Flexible and negotiated per program. Stock colors and sizes start lower; custom sheet colors and kit configurations are quoted against the packing spec.
7. How long does production take?
30 days after sample approval, plus 20 days during the August to October peak. Shipping time depends on the destination port and is quoted with the order.
