Candle Materials, Sizes & Packing Options
Hanukkah candles are short-burn tapers, so wax hardness, wick gauge and dip thickness all affect how the candle sits in the holder and how cleanly it burns. We set those parameters once per order and keep them on file for repeat production.
The standard configuration is 0.9 cm in diameter and 14 cm in length with a 100% cotton wick, packed 45 pieces per box. Each of the five items below can be changed when the order quantity supports it.
Wax blend
Paraffin, beeswax or a blended wax, selected for a steady flame and low drip during the nightly lighting.
Dimensions
0.9 × 14 cm standard. Send the inner diameter of your menorah holders and the body is adjusted to match.
Wick
100% cotton, lead-free, sized to the candle diameter so the flame does not smoke or tunnel.
Color & finish
Solid, two-tone, gradient, spiral, metallic or marbled finishes, applied by repeated dipping.
Packing
44, 45 or 135 pieces per set, in poly bags, printed boxes, display trays or private-label cartons.

Choosing the Right Candle for Your Menorah
Three details decide whether a candle fits and burns well in a given menorah. Confirm them before the first production run and repeat orders stay consistent.
Holder diameter
Most standard menorahs take a 0.9 cm candle. Measure the cup or socket and send the figure; the tolerance is held through production rather than adjusted afterwards.
Pack count
A 44-piece set covers the 36 nightly lights plus a shamash for each of the eight nights. The 45-piece adds one spare; the 135-piece set is a triple pack for families, schools and synagogues.
Shamash & height
Candles in a set are cut to one height, so any candle can serve as the shamash. If your menorah has a raised shamash holder, a longer candle can be cut for that position.

PRODUCTION & QUALITY CONTROL
How Our Hanukkah Candles Are Made
Candles are produced at our own factory in Tonglu, from wax preparation through to the final burn check, with no outsourced dipping.
STEP 01
Wax & wick preparation
Wax is melted to a set temperature and the cotton wick is primed so it draws evenly from the first light.
STEP 02
Repeated dipping
Each taper is dipped layer by layer; color and finish are built up in the same process rather than painted on.
STEP 03
Cooling & straightening
Tapers are cooled under controlled conditions and checked for straightness so they sit upright in the holder.
STEP 04
Burn check & packing
Samples from each batch are burned to confirm a one-hour-plus flame, then counted and packed by set size.
Documentation is available on request: MSDS sheets for the wax and color materials, an Intertek SQP audit report, and test references against ASTM F2417 and EN 15494, plus a REACH statement for the materials used. 1. What size are your Hanukkah candles?

2. How long does each Hanukkah candle burn?
Our Hanukkah tapers burn for one hour or more, which comfortably covers the nightly lighting. Burn time is checked on samples from each batch; a different wax blend can be discussed if you need a longer or shorter burn.
3. How many candles come in a set?

6. What is the minimum order and lead time?
Orders start from 2,000 pcs per color, and mixed colors can be combined. Production takes about 30 days after deposit, with an additional 20 days for shipments between August and October.
7. Can I get samples before placing an order?
Three free pieces are available so you can check color, fit and burn performance; the buyer covers freight. Stock colors are ready in about 7 days, and custom dips are quoted with the sampling schedule.
