What We Control in Production
A votive fails at retail for three reasons: a wick that is too large for the cup, color that shifts between batches, and wax that pulls away from the glass. These are the five points we hold in every order.
Wax and scent
Every votive is poured from natural beeswax with no paraffin filler, so the candle carries a faint honey scent and a warm flame. Fragrance can be added for retail programs, and the wider beeswax candle range shares the same wax base.
Dimensions
Diameter and height are set per order to match the holder you specify, from narrow glass cups to wider bowls. We confirm the finished dimensions on the sample before the bulk run is scheduled.
Color and finish
Natural honey and ivory are stock colors. Custom Pantone matching starts at 500 pcs per color, with trials poured on production wax so the approved sample matches the bulk delivery.
Wicking
Cotton wicks are primed and centered by hand, then sized to the cup depth so the wax pool reaches the edge without tunnelling or smoking. Wicks are trimmed to length before packing.
Packing and documents
Bulk cartons, shrink packs, window boxes and gift sets are available. Retail packaging can carry your barcode, safety warning and language versions; our sales support team checks label wording against the destination market before production.

Most of our votive volume ships under the buyer's own brand. Cartons, sleeves and bands are printed to your artwork, with barcodes and multilingual warning text applied before the goods leave the factory.
Send artwork and we return a dieline and a printed mock-up before tooling starts, so the layout is agreed before any packaging is produced.

Printed or foiled on the carton, sleeve or band. Vector artwork is preferred so the mark stays sharp at small sizes.

PRODUCTION
From Wax Block to Sealed Carton
Votive production is short and repeatable, which is why lead times stay predictable. Sampling and bulk run on the same line, in the same workshop that handles our taper and pillar lines.
STEP 01
Wax melting and filtration
Beeswax is melted at a controlled temperature and filtered to remove sediment before color is added.
STEP 02
Pouring
Wax is poured at a set temperature so the surface cools flat and the candle releases cleanly from the mold.
STEP 03
Wicking and trimming
Wicks are set while the wax is still warm, then trimmed and checked for centring before the candle cools.
STEP 04
Inspection and packing
Each carton is checked for surface finish, color match and wick alignment before it is sealed and labeled.

Beeswax Votive Questions Buyers Ask

1. Are your votive candles 100% beeswax?
Yes. The body is natural beeswax with no paraffin blend. The color and any fragrance are the only additions, and both are declared on the MSDS.
2. Will they fit my existing holders?
Send the inner diameter of the holder, or ship one sample holder, and we will match the cup to it. Custom diameters start at 2,000 pcs per size.
3. Can you match a specific color?
Pantone matching starts at 500 pcs per color. We pour color trials on production wax and send them for approval before the bulk run.
4. How long do the candles burn?
Burn time follows the cup size and wick, so we quote it per SKU after sampling rather than publishing a single figure for the range.
5. What is the MOQ?
2,000 pcs per size and color. Mixed colors can be combined in one order as long as each color meets the 500 pcs color minimum.
6. How long does production take?
30 days after sample approval, plus 20 days during August to October. Shipping time depends on the destination port and is quoted with the order.
7. Can you print our logo?
Yes, on cartons, sleeves and bands. We send a printed mock-up for approval before the packaging run starts.
