What We Control in Production
A tealight is cheap to buy and expensive to get wrong: a cup that tunnels in ten minutes, a wick that smokes under a warmer, or a fill weight that quietly shortens the burn. These are the five points we hold in every order.
Wax and burn
The fill is natural beeswax with no paraffin blend, so the cup burns longer than a paraffin tealight of the same size and gives off a faint honey note. Burn figures are measured per fill weight on burned samples, not estimated, and the wider beeswax candle range shares the same wax base.
Cup and fill weight
Aluminum cups and clear poly cups are both available, and fill weight is set to the burn time your service needs. Cup compatibility and wick height are confirmed on samples before the production run is scheduled.
Color
Natural golden yellow is stock and shifts slightly between wax batches, which is expected for unbleached beeswax. Dyed tealights are matched from 500 pcs per color, with trials poured on production wax for approval.
Wicking
Cotton wicks are primed, centered and trimmed so the flame reaches the cup edge without smoking. Wicks are checked after cooling, because a tealight that tunnels in the first ten minutes becomes a complaint, not a candle.
Packing and documents
Bulk cartons, 6/12/25-piece inner boxes and shrink trays are available. Cartons carry your barcode and warning text, and our sales support team checks the wording against the destination market before production.

Send artwork and we return a dieline and a printed mock-up before the packaging run, so the layout is agreed before any board is cut.

Fragrance
Unscented by default so the candle does not compete with food or with the oil in a warmer. Oils can be added at the melt.

PRODUCTION
From Wax Block to Sealed Carton
Tealight production is the fastest line we run, which is why repeat orders hold a stable lead time. Sampling and bulk run in the same workshop as our pillar and jar lines.
STEP 01
Wax melting and filtration
Beeswax is melted at a controlled temperature and filtered to remove sediment before color is added.
STEP 02
Filling the cups
Cups are filled to a set weight so the burn time is repeatable, and the surface is levelled as it cools.
STEP 03
Wicking and trimming
Wicks are centered while the wax is warm, then trimmed to a consistent height before the cups are boxed.
STEP 04
Inspection and packing
Each box is checked for fill weight, wick centring and cup condition before the carton is sealed and labeled.

Beeswax Tealight Questions Buyers Ask
The questions that come up most often during quotation. If yours is not covered, send it with your enquiry and we will answer in writing.
1. How long does a beeswax tealight burn?
Burn time depends on fill weight and cup size, so we quote it per SKU after sampling rather than publishing one figure for the line. The tested figure is written on the quotation.
2. Do they fit standard tealight holders?
The standard cup is 38 mm and fits common holders, warmers and catering trays. Custom diameters are available; send the holder or warmer you use and we will confirm the fit at sampling.
3. Are the tealights scented?
Unscented by default, which is what hospitality and oil-warmer channels need. Fragrance can be added at the melt for retail programs, and the scent level is approved on a burned sample.
4. Can you match a specific color?
Pantone matching starts at 500 pcs per color. We pour color trials on production wax and send them for approval before the bulk run.
5. What is the MOQ?
2,000 pcs per size and color. Mixed colors can be combined in one order as long as each color meets the 500 pcs color minimum.
6. How long does production take?
30 days after sample approval, plus 20 days during August to October. Shipping time depends on the destination port and is quoted with the order.
7. Can you print our logo on the packing?
Yes, on inner boxes, shrink trays and cartons. We send a printed mock-up for approval before the packaging run starts.
